<p>We hope Jennifer Aniston doesn&#8217;t get jealous, but there&#8217;s a new, younger woman in Gerard Butler&#8217;s life, and she can sing, too.</p>
<p>Earlier this month, <a title="yahoo news" href="http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/_ylt=Asjt7XQfDH84hb2fFp92kGpXwiUv/SIG=11c05cbgp/**http%3A/www.rhemamarvanne.com/index.html" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/us.lrd.yahoo.com/_ylt=Asjt7XQfDH84hb2fFp92kGpXwiUv/SIG=11c05cbgp/_http_3A/www.rhemamarvanne.com/index.html?referer=');">Rhema Marvanne</a>, a 7-year-old gospel singer from Carrollton, Texas, taped a scene in Butler&#8217;s new film <strong>Machine Gun Preacher</strong>.</p>
<p>In the movie Butler plays a drug dealer-turned-crusader on a mission to save kids.</p>
<p>&#8220;During his baptism, Rhema is actually singing &#8216;Amazing Grace&#8217; at that pillar moment [Butler] goes from a bad guy to a good guy and then goes to South Africa to save all the little kids from the war,&#8221; said Teton Voaritskul, Rhema&#8217;s dad.</p>
<p>&#8220;It felt great,&#8221; Rhema said about making her theatrical debut. &#8220;It felt like God is really proud of me and he&#8217;s smiling right at me.&#8221;</p>
<p>YouTube videos of Rhema performing &#8220;Amazing Grace,&#8221; &#8220;O Holy Night,&#8221; Celine Dion&#8217;s &#8220;The Prayer&#8221; with Terry White and Whitney Houston&#8217;s &#8220;I Love the Lord&#8221; has generated more than a million streams.</p>
<p>People searching for holiday music found Rhema&#8217;s &#8220;O Holy Night&#8221; in December and sparked hundreds of thousands of plays.</p>
<p>The <strong>Maury Povich Show</strong> contacted Rhema&#8217;s father to feature her on its Most Talented Kids 2010, and Korean show <strong>Star King</strong> also booked her as a guest.</p>
<p>Rhema began singing when she learned to speak. Her mother, Wendi Marvanne, who was a local gospel singer, died of ovarian cancer in 2008. She often sang with Rhema and rehearsed plays.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-37060" title="rhema mom" src="http://www.goldcoastchronicle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/rhema-mom.jpg" alt="rhema mom" width="200" height="149" />As a tribute to her mother, Rhema will focus on gospel music. &#8220;Out of my love for [my wife] and out of respect for her wishes I thought Rhema has incredible singing skills and talent, I wanted to do something she would be happy with and follow in her footsteps,&#8221; Voaritskul said.</p>
<p>Rhema said her mother and Houston are her favorite singers, but Dion&#8217;s classical &#8220;The Prayer&#8221; with Andrea Bocelli was her toughest vocal hurdle. &#8220;It&#8217;s actually the hardest song I&#8217;ve ever sung before,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I actually like it. It&#8217;s a great song.&#8221;</p>
<p>Major record labels have been calling Voaritskul to discuss potential record deals, but her father is not making any hasty decisions.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our focus is not trying to see how big we can be or how much money we can make,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>&#8220;We just want to try to produce something that represents Rhema and<img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-37062" title="Rhema album" src="http://www.goldcoastchronicle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Rhema-album-150x150.jpg" alt="Rhema album" width="150" height="150" /> something that goes along with our mission and ministry.</p>
<p>If we find someone who can accommodate that or is willing to work with that or wants to do that, if it&#8217;s a good fit, we will definitely consider it.&#8221;</p>
<p>Rhema is currently working on a gospel album, a Christmas album, and taking on singing dates across the nation. She released her six-track, self-titled debut in May.</p>

<p>Those of you who actually read these articles and essays know that first and foremost I&#8217;m a servant of the Most High God of the universe, the Lord Jesus the Christ.</p>
<p>Everything I write about or endeavor to do, I do for His glory and not my own for in the grand scheme of things, I am nothing and I realize that more so as I get older.</p>
<p>So my personal opinions mean nothing if they&#8217;re not founded in His word.</p>
<p>That being said, I&#8217;ve been disturbed by some things of late having to do with some conservatives and the word of God.<br />
<strong>Conservatism: The New Religion</strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;m a conservative for one reason: the principles of conservatism line up with the word of the living God.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m a capitalist because of the same reason (for anyone who wants to debate that, I&#8217;m happy to do so).</p>
<p>This is not to say that all capitalists and conservatives are godly. Quite the contrary. I see many of them who are hooked up with me here on Face book who clearly are not.</p>
<p>Their conservatism supersedes their faith (some which have none except in themselves which is a whole other topic) and their numbers are many.</p>
<p>For these, being a conservative consumes them. Daily, they troll blogs and websites for the most recent political news and commentary.</p>
<p> They spend time Photo shopping pictures of their political opponents in shameful displays that they present to anyone willing to join in with their slander.</p>
<p>If anyone disagrees with their view on the political landscape, they are vilified and demonized with no vestiges of honor and decency.</p>
<p>In short, they act like a lot of liberals. This only proves that the evil that lurks in the hearts of men and women is not partial to political affiliation. It will use anyone willing to embrace it.</p>
<p>On the flip side, there are those of us whose faith supersedes our conservatism.</p>
<p> I&#8217;m one of those people. But in my case, I have it bad. I&#8217;ve been afflicted with the Micaiah Malady.</p>
<p><strong>Micaiah Malady</strong></p>
<p>In the book of 2 Chronicles in the Bible, chapter 18, there&#8217;s an account of two kings. Jehoshaphat, a good king from the southern kingdom of Judah, and Ahab, an exceedingly evil king.</p>
<p> They met because Ahab was about to go to war and wanted Jehoshaphat to join him.</p>
<p>They went to inquire of the prophets who prophesied victory and encouragement. But Jehoshaphat recognized these were not true prophets of God and asked if there were any in the kingdom.</p>
<p>Ahab, reluctantly, responded:</p>
<p><em>There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD:<strong> but I hate him</strong> (my emphasis); for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla.</em></p>
<p><em> </em></p>
<p>Notice an evil king hated the good prophet, not because the prophet had personally done any wrong to him, but because he was a prophet of God.</p>
<p>Because Ahab was an evil king, what he heard from God was evil for him because he&#8217;d set himself up in array against God.</p>
<p>Take note of that because I&#8217;m going to come back to this very important point.</p>
<p>So they went to get Micaiah. When they got there, the messenger said:</p>
<p><em>Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.</em></p>
<p>He said it nice and inviting. However, what he really was saying was, <strong>&#8220;Compromise your faith for political acceptance.&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>Micaiah&#8217;s response?</p>
<p><em>As the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak.</em></p>

<p>We received word of oil coming ashore in Waveland, Mississippi. being mobile; we set out to witness firsthand what an oil spill looked like.</p>
<p>Again, we were there mainly to get the <em><strong>voices of the under heard</strong></em> on camera, since the pictures of oiled marshland had been rolling in steadily for the past month.</p>
<p>Honestly, photos can only show so much. What I discovered would surely change my view of the situation forever.</p>
<p>Upon hitting the beach in <a title="richard" href="http://www.wavelandcity.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.wavelandcity.com/?referer=');">Waveland</a> and Bay St. Louis, I noticed people were walking along the beach in spots, but were not attempting to go into the water. After a closer examination, it became evident why.</p>
<p>Though the surface looked clean of oil, what was under the waves was a different story.</p>
<p>The beach was dotted in some spots and covered in others, from <em><strong>a submersed pool of oil in patches</strong></em>.</p>
<p>The real hidden menace lurked just under the water’s surface in huge suspensions.</p>
<p>It appears the government and <a title="richard" href="http://www.bp.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.bp.com/?referer=');">BP’s</a> efforts to make it go away were successful in one sense, yet have come back to haunt them.</p>
<p>The adage <em><strong>sweep it under the rug</strong></em> seems to have taken on new meaning with big government and their <em><strong>liberal media lap dogs.</strong></em></p>
<p>I liken it to shaking a vinaigrette bottle. You can mix up the oil and vinegar but you still have oil and vinegar, just emulsified.</p>
<p>Thank goodness for Corexit, right?</p>
<p>Corexit is a product line of solvents primarily used for breaking up oil<img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-36983" title="crosses" src="http://www.goldcoastchronicle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/crosses-150x150.jpg" alt="crosses" width="150" height="150" /> slicks. It is produced by <a title="Nalco Holding Company" href="http://www.examiner.com/wiki/Nalco_Holding_Company" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.examiner.com/wiki/Nalco_Holding_Company?referer=');">Nalco Holding Company</a> which is associated with BP.</p>
<p>After all, you wouldn’t want big share holders Soros, Gore, and Resko to lose any money by not using the most toxic chemical type in the industry.</p>
<p>Just a coincidence that <a href="http://www.bp.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.bp.com/?referer=');">BP</a> was the single largest corporate donor to <a title="richard" href="http://www.whitehouse.gov/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.whitehouse.gov/?referer=');">Obama’s</a> campaign and uses <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corexit" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corexit?referer=');">Corexit</a> solely. <em><strong><a href="http://onemansthoughts.wordpress.com/2009/04/12/never-let-a-serious-crisis-go-to-wasteits-an-opportunity-to-do-things-you-couldnt-do-before-rohm-emanuel/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/onemansthoughts.wordpress.com/2009/04/12/never-let-a-serious-crisis-go-to-wasteits-an-opportunity-to-do-things-you-couldnt-do-before-rohm-emanuel/?referer=');">Never let a crisis go to waste</a>.</strong></em></p>
<p>While most of the locals were scared for their jobs to talk, one woman from <a href="http://www.phila.gov/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.phila.gov/?referer=');">Philadelphia</a>, a professional photographer, did go on record with her feelings.</p>
<p>It turns out she is a liberal, yet shockingly happy to find the <a title="richard" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_movement" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_movement?referer=');">tea party</a> covering what seemed to be a mile long funeral line of <em><strong>outside contracted cleanup workers.</strong></em></p>
<p>I was amazed to see (with video) how government workers strung out the containment boom in hazard material suits, while the beach cleaners had none.</p>
<p>It must be some more fuzzy science which says the oil is less toxic on the beach than 100 meters out in the water.</p>
<p><em><strong>The </strong></em><em><strong>Obama</strong></em><em><strong> regime wouldn’t lie anyway; would they?</strong> </em></p>

<p><em><strong>What was the FED doing?</strong></em></p>
<p>So the band played on. Government/BP hired contractors who scoured the beaches and waved the magic wand of Corexit over the sea tried to make it all go away. <em><strong>Forget the local folks put out of work by all of this.</strong></em></p>
<p>Yet the oil keeps coming from underneath and the sky seems to be raining something <em><strong>toxic to kill birds and plants miles inland.</strong></em></p>
<p>I guess President Obama re-wrote the laws of chemistry to state <a title="richard" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benzene" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benzene?referer=');">Benzene</a>, and similar aromatic by-products from crude oil, can’t evaporate off the surface of the water and precipitate out with the rain.</p>
<p>I guess that’s why he’s President and I guess too that we can all sleep well now.</p>

<p>The Obama administration told Scottish officials last August that, although it opposed any release of the Lockerbie bomber, it would rather see him released in Scotland than transferred to a Libyan prison, <strong>according to a secret memo obtained by The Sunday Times in London.<br />
</strong> <br />
The publication of the memo&#8217;s contents comes just days after President Obama, at a press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron, said &#8220;all of us &#8230; were surprised, disappointed and angry&#8221; by the Scottish government&#8217;s decision to free Abdel Baset al-Megrahi last year.<br />
 <br />
Al-Megrahi&#8217;s release last year was approved based on &#8220;compassionate&#8221; grounds, on the belief that he had months left to live.</p>
<p>The case has sparked renewed controversy recently on reports that al-Megrahi may survive much longer.<br />
 <br />
According to The Sunday Times report, the Obama administration weighed in last year in the memo sent by Richard LeBaron, deputy head of the U.S.</p>
<p>Embassy in London, to Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond and other justice officials. In the memo, dated Aug. 12, LeBaron argued against the release.<br />
 <br />
&#8220;Nevertheless, if Scottish authorities come to the conclusion that Megrahi must be released from Scottish custody, the US position is that conditional release on compassionate grounds would be a far preferable alternative to prisoner transfer, which we strongly oppose,&#8221; the memo reportedly said.<br />
 <br />
LeBaron pushed for the Scottish government to require al-Megrahi to live in Scotland, though al-Megrahi was ultimately returned to Libya.<br />
 <br />
According to The Sunday Times, Scottish officials viewed U.S. resistance to the release as &#8220;half-hearted.&#8221;</p>
<p>The Guardian reported on the existence of the memo last year, but the U.S. government reportedly has tried to keep its contents secret. The Sunday Times was the first to publish the memo&#8217;s text.</p>

<p>Yes, America, you are watching while Washington burns and self-destructs before our very eyes.</p>
<p>What does a country and its citizens do as their nation continues to collapse from weak and misdirected Leadership?</p>
<p>What are you going to do? The Declaration of Independence states:</p>
<p>“To secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.”</p>
<p>“We are the Masters of our Fate and Captains of our Soul”. English poet William Ernest Henley (1849–1903). It was written in 1875.</p>
<p>We cannot permit the current leaders in the White House and Halls of Congress to continue in their efforts to lead us down the road of Progressive Socialism.</p>
<p>This is the current battle that we Constitutionalists face and we must be aggressive in our efforts.</p>
<p>Of notice is the Arrogance Incompetence and Dishonesty of officials as relates to Legislation, National Security, Economy, and is the rationale for multiple resignations and a serious change of government.</p>
<p>The Fate of the country is now in our hands and the plea from the majority of our citizens is to enforce our Constitutional and Existing Laws.</p>
<p>There is a growing list of documented violations by current elected and appointed government officials of the Constitution and their Oath of Office.</p>
<p>The 2010 November elections will be the most pivotal mid-term elections in our history.</p>
<p>Lincoln issued this warning in his inaugural address, “Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one.</p>
<p>This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.” Being a representative republic, not a democracy, and “rising up” means other than revolution by use of arms.</p>
<p>The people must “rise up” (Stand Up as we say now) from the grass roots across this great country as we think of the greater good of this and future generations.</p>
<p>We are limited in the peaceful transfer of power…resignation, elections, and impeachment.</p>
<p>The oath is simple and reads: “I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”</p>
<p>Sadly, we have seen them violate their oath. Fraud, lying, and corruption are rampant and some have engaged in treasonous activities, and they effectively thumb their noses at us and have sold you to the highest bidder.</p>
<p>The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution, which granted the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty.</p>
<p>The balance of authority and individual liberty was understood. Power was confined to that which was enumerated in the Constitution with a certain and meaningful intent for check and balances.</p>
<p>Article One, S5, CII and the 10th Amendment provides the authority but this has been trumped by a system that rewards the powerful.</p>
<p>In 1803 each congressional district averaged 38,476 people. In 2010 it is forecast to exceed 710,000.</p>
<p>These numbers indicate power growth, and it effectively grew eight fold in the 20th century alone. No wonder our representatives seek to stay in office so long.</p>
<p>Power, money and benefits beyond the reach of most Americans are the basis now for many politicians and revolving door appointees staying in office.</p>
<p>They must be termed out. With incumbency comes power. The party in the majority assigns power, so a long-term sitting representative can expect such power.</p>
<p>A representative expected to stay in office in the 3rd Congress for approximately two years now expects 12 years, or 6 terms &#8211; so much for a “citizen government.”</p>
<p>But this can be changed through grass roots organization and discourse. We must make it a local imperative and movement….of the People…by the People… and For the People.</p>
<p>“We, the People” have had enough. Enough is enough. The Obama White House and identifiable Members of Congress are now on a progressive socialist and treasonous death march and are bankrupting the country beyond expectations.</p>
<p>We have watched them violate their sacred oath of office. “We, the People” cannot solely depend on the results of the elections.</p>
<p>It is now that many of these public servants (and you know who they are) must put the people and country interests above self-interest by resigning immediately.</p>
<p>A civil uprising is still not out of the question as “pain” grips the country more each day. I am confident many more resignations and new representation will be forthcoming based on the efforts of the people.</p>
<p>This means raising your voice now to your neighbors, family, co-workers, and friends. Be the Captains of your Souls.</p>
<p>“We are the Masters of our Fate and Captains of our Soul”. I pray for another George Washington to appear within the year and lead us.</p>

<p>The schedule for Day One was pretty much set, as we walked off the plane at <a title="richard" href="http://www.flymsy.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.flymsy.com/?referer=');">Louis Armstrong Airport</a>, in <a title="richard" href="http://www.neworleanscvb.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.neworleanscvb.com/?referer=');">New Orleans</a>, with Armstrong’s towering likeness greeting us in the main lobby.  </p>
<p>The back drop of the story board would be set against the destructive memories of <a title="richard" href="http://www.hurricanekatrina.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.hurricanekatrina.com/?referer=');">Hurricane Katrina</a> five years earlier.</p>
<p>For some reason, the memory of the broken 17th Street levy became our focus for the first film shoot.</p>
<p>By aligning aerial pictures of the flood zone with the current <a title="richard" href="http://www.gps.gov/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.gps.gov/?referer=');">GPS</a>, we had no problem in finding the spot.</p>
<p>Upon arriving at the spot, a geological crew from <a title="richard" href="http://www.lsu.edu/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.lsu.edu/?referer=');">LSU</a> was undertaking soil readings since the levy was leaking about a gallon per hour. It seams leaks are historical to the area.</p>
<p>It appears the <a title="richard" href="http://www.usace.army.mil/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.usace.army.mil/?referer=');">Army Corp of Engineers</a> forced the contractors to work on <em><strong>&#8216;the cheap&#8217;</strong></em> by using shorter pilings, according to the lead scientist.</p>
<p>A number of professional confidants have mentioned to me, since the film, how I made a stunning comparison to the destruction of prior years.</p>
<p>This is the first time I have mentioned leaks and <em><strong>&#8216;work on the cheap.&#8217;</strong></em> History has a way of repeating itself.</p>
<p>The second half of the day was spent in search of fishermen, who were no doubt the best source of what the situation was like out on the water.</p>
<p>Our contacts were dropping out and we were in an ad-lib mode, when we decided to have dinner at <a title="richard" href="http://neworleans.citysearch.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/neworleans.citysearch.com/?referer=');">R&amp;O’s Restaurant</a> on the shore of <a title="richard" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Pontchartrain" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Pontchartrain?referer=');">Lake Ponchartrain</a>. The daylight was winding down.</p>
<p>Fisherman and restaurateur, <a title="richard" href="http://www.nola.com/news/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.nola.com/news/?referer=');">Roland Mollere</a>, was eager to get his story out; so the inside corner on what was going on in the area came to light.</p>
<p>He is a hard working and successful man who decided enough was enough with<em><strong> lies and foot-dragging concerning the spill, clean-up, compensation and corruption.</strong></em></p>
<p>It was apparent many would not speak due to a <em><strong>&#8216;phantom gag order&#8217;</strong></em> issued by one of the BP or government apostles.</p>
<p>In essence, the only real evidence we found of a<em><strong> &#8216;gag order&#8217; </strong></em>was the restriction of 65 feet away from first responders and booms while in the water.</p>
<p>The <a title="richard" href="http://www.uscg.mil/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.uscg.mil/?referer=');">Coast Guard</a> did nothing wrong here, as paparazzi &amp; co. tend to get a little to close for safety sake. It wouldn’t take much for a boat to cut the boom lines as it ran over.</p>
<p>Yet, <em><strong>a perceived code of silence </strong></em>affected many we spoke to. People were afraid for their livelihood. Must see <a title="richard" href="http://wootv.us/play.php?vid=595" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/wootv.us/play.php?vid=595&amp;referer=');">video.</a></p>

<p><em><strong>What was the FED doing ?</strong></em></p>
<p>I commend <a title="richard" href="http://www.nola.com/news/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.nola.com/news/?referer=');">Roland</a> on Day One. <em><strong>His first hand account of outsider boats being hired to assist in the clean up, </strong></em><em><strong>BP’s</strong></em><em><strong> mystery payment checks,</strong></em> and over all knowledge of the waterways and how they were affected have been a journalistic gold mine.</p>
<p>I’m still in touch with him, as he tries to mobilize his fellow fishermen in <em><strong>protest over their treatment by </strong></em><em><strong>BP</strong></em><em><strong> and the Federal Government.</strong></em></p>

<p><em>The content merits the fact that we paid for this project out of our pockets to get the voices and places out to the public, filling a vacuum left behind by an endless Obama bed relationship with the leftist media. </em></p>

<p>Since day one of this man-made disaster, myself and two other contributors took a long hard look at the economic and ecological impact this gusher would soon bring to the shores of the <a title="richard" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_Coast_of_the_United_States" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_Coast_of_the_United_States?referer=');">Gulf Coast States</a>.</p>
<p>We were not wrong in our assumptions.</p>
<p>By the middle of June, the impact was being felt across the region; ultimately threatening the entire Eastern Seaboard via the Gulf Stream underwater currents.</p>
<p>Though our reporting of the incident and operations were getting the word out, <em><strong>we noticed a fundamental disconnect between what the main stream media and people on the ground were saying.</strong></em></p>
<p>This anomaly, between what the <em><strong>&#8216;big media&#8217;</strong></em> were saying and showing, and what our sources on the ground were telling us, led to our decision to head up a team to get on the ground and get first-hand information.</p>
<p>The idea was spread to all the Contributors at PSC, with the intent of allowing full journalistic participation by anyone wanting to take up this cause. Ultimately, Paul Szemanczky and Andy Sullivan, of <a title="richard" href="http://www.bluecollarcorner.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.bluecollarcorner.com/?referer=');">Blue Collar Corner</a>, took my offer to join me.</p>
<p><a title="richard" href="http://www.wootv.us/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.wootv.us/?referer=');">WooTv.US</a> and <a title="richard" href="http://windowstoliberty.com/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/windowstoliberty.com/?referer=');">Windows to Liberty Radio Network</a> were on board as soon as we mentioned it to them.</p>
<p>Their support in hosting this film and getting our voice heard over the radio nightly were integral parts of the combined success of our operation.</p>
<p>Realizing the consequences of what we might find and understanding the unknown factor of being new to a situation only gave us the courage to make this work.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><em><strong>The next step was to plan.</strong></em></p>
<p>Look on the right. This is what we were planning for. With a go date of July 8th and only one week remaining, it was clear we would have to be mobile and respond to input as it came on the fly.</p>
<p>Though my story board was only set to include an opening segment, the decision to leave the rest of the plan open led to an unprecedented wealth of local information and voices wanting to be heard.</p>
<p>Our overlying goal was always to get the people on the ground to open up and speak their minds freely; <em><strong>something the main stream media had been good at sanitizing.</strong></em></p>
<p>Most of what you will see in the video came about as a result of our desire to travel with field gear only.</p>
<p>A light weight digital video camera and tri-pod, as well as one bag of standard equipment, enabled the team to move fast and respond to reports as they were coming in via I-phone.</p>
<p>We were literally moving through the streets of New Orleans with equipment on our shoulders; yet the power of digital technology and 1080i HD video gave us the advantage over studio equipment weighing many pounds more.</p>

<p><em><strong>Someone Failed To Do Their Job</strong></em></p>
<p>We worked with the intent of producing a grass roots presentation, as we call “street beat’ video. The content merits the fact that we undertook this project with our own money to get the voices and places out to the public.</p>

<p>As families take to the highways and airways this summer, the National Center for Missing &amp; Exploited Children (<strong>NCMEC)</strong> wants to remind parents and guardians about some tips to help make the traveling experience more enjoyable and minimize some of the potential risks. </p>
<p>Whether traveling solo or with family, parents and guardians need to talk with children about safety before boarding a plane, train, or bus this summer season.</p>
<p>Crowds are greater this time of year and children may easily become separated from their parents and guardians.</p>
<p>If that should happen, parents and guardians need a plan and children should be taught what to do.</p>
<p>And remember: child safety is a year-round priority. Parents and guardians need to look out for kids and keep communication lines open 365 days a year!</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>If your child is flying or riding a train or bus this summer, NCMEC urges parents and guardians to remember the following travel safety tips: </strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>When you make reservations for your child, specify whether your child will be traveling alone.</li>
</ul>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Whenever possible, book a non-stop flight or direct route. Avoid booking the last flight of the day.</li>
</ul>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Plan to visit the airport, train or bus terminal prior to departure. Let your child know what to expect, so the experience will not be so intimidating.</li>
</ul>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>In case of delay or cancellation, remain at the station or gate until the train, plane or bus departs.</li>
</ul>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Make sure children travel with proper identification and parents or guardian contact information.</li>
</ul>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Always have a back-up plan for the person or people meeting the plane at the destination, in case they are delayed.</li>
</ul>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Encourage children not to become too friendly with other passengers or to reveal any personal information.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Remind them that the flight attendant is the adult to go to if they are uncomfortable or need assistance.</li>
</ul>

<p>We have Ben Crenshaw on the phone. May I ask before we get him on, does he know that I know nothing about sports? Can you ask him that?</p>
<p>STU: Everyone in America knows that.</p>
<p>GLENN: Everyone in America knows. Okay. So I don&#8217;t have to play the game like, hey, you are&#8230;</p>
<p>STU: No, you don&#8217;t have to play the game that you are smart or a man.</p>
<p>GLENN: the best. Excuse me?</p>
<p>STU: Don&#8217;t play that game. No one&#8217;s going to believe that game.</p>
<p>GLENN: See, this is really not, it&#8217;s not helpful. I notice Dan is here like a vulture, like a vulture.</p>
<p>DAN: I&#8217;ve been called. I&#8217;ve been summoned to the studio.</p>
<p>GLENN: This guy is a Dan is an avid, avid golfer, as he wears what&#8217;s the name of the shirt? What are you wearing? Who are you wearing today?</p>
<p>DAN: Well, I just happen to have a Callaway shirt on. It&#8217;s just happenstance.<br />
GLENN: He&#8217;s wearing a Callaway shirt today. He is like the avid, avid golfer of the place and he&#8217;s been, he&#8217;s just like ever since he heard about Ben Crenshaw and this thing that we have going on with 8/28,</p>

<p>CRENSHAW: Hi, Glenn, how are you?</p>
<p>GLENN: Very good, how are things, sir?</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Oh, very good. It&#8217;s an honor to talk to you, Glenn.<br />
GLENN: Oh, please, it&#8217;s an honor to talk to you. I&#8217;m not going to bluff and say that I just know your name and I know your name because my father is such a huge golfer, an avid golfer, and he&#8217;ll be thrilled to hear that I spoke to you.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Well, Glenn, listen. Golfers, they are a strange cult of which I&#8217;m one. They&#8217;re a lot</p>
<p>GLENN: Hang on just a second. I think we have remembered whose show you are on. You are in dangerous territory to say you are now a member of a cult. That&#8217;s all the media will report.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: (Laughing). Hey, golfers are it&#8217;s a there&#8217;s a lot of people across the world who play golf, but it&#8217;s a small community. It&#8217;s amazing that people know everybody.</p>
<p>GLENN: Yeah.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: And they are always interested in how to get better. But Glenn, it was my pleasure to hopefully help in this <a title="glenn" href="http://www.charityfolks.com/cfauctions/auction_bid.asp?auctionid=19287&amp;catname=Sports&amp;mcid=10959" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.charityfolks.com/cfauctions/auction_bid.asp?auctionid=19287_amp_catname=Sports_amp_mcid=10959&amp;referer=');">auction item</a> because the Special Operations Warrior Foundation I think is so it&#8217;s so vital, and I&#8217;m so happy that so many people around the country would help.</p>

<p>GLENN: Yeah.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: But also to help families that have that these brave people who have lost who have given their ultimate sacrifice. But I&#8217;m happy to help in this item. I&#8217;m hopeful that whoever wins this auction can come to San Antonio and have a great week.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a great town to be in, but I&#8217;d love to spend some time with them and help them with their golf game and have them watch a game of golf.</p>
<p>GLENN: Okay. So now so now like, Dan is a can you take somebody that like me that has absolutely no skill whatsoever and help them?</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Yep. Yes, I can. You know, you introduce the fundamentals and, you know, I guess, Glenn, it&#8217;s like you see all these little kids. I&#8217;ve never snow skied in my life but all these little kids who start early, they just, they just watch.</p>
<p>They pick up things by rote and skill when they&#8217;re young. It helps. It helps to start young, although there have been some players who have become proficient starting later. Which you might be one, Glenn.</p>
<p>GLENN: No, I&#8217;m not. No, I&#8217;m really have you seen me? I&#8217;m not. I&#8217;m really not. Ben, here&#8217;s I just want to make an I just want to ask your permission to do this. I&#8217;m going to lower the salary of one of the guys on my staff.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m going to pay him less and I&#8217;ll be able to get away with it because I&#8217;d like your permission to allow him to say hello to you.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Well, I&#8217;ve heard</p>
<p>GLENN: It&#8217;s just a financial thing for me. I figure I can pay him less money because he will be so indebted to me for the rest of his life: Wow, I spoke to Ben Crenshaw.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Well, you are a businessman, Glenn. That&#8217;s fine.</p>
<p>GLENN: I appreciate it. I appreciate it. Dan, go ahead because you are going to be slobbering all over me all day.</p>
<p>DAN: Look, this is you know, I&#8217;m a big fan, you know. And</p>
<p>GLENN: He is, Ben! Ben, he has been all week, all week I never see this guy. He&#8217;s in my office all week: You know, I&#8217;m a really big fan of Ben Crenshaw.</p>
<p>DAN: Look, look. Hold on a second, Glenn. Somebody asked me, look, if I wanted to help the troops and, of course, I&#8217;m here to help the troops and if you need, you know, someone to help out with this, with this item, I&#8217;m here to do it.</p>
<p>GLENN: You are good, aren&#8217;t you, Ben? I think you</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Oh, I can help. I can help.</p>
<p>GLENN: Yeah. No, I think I don&#8217;t think he needs any help from you, Dan. I don&#8217;t think you ever need to meet him or see him or anything.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Dan must be easily impressed if he&#8217;s impressed with me.</p>
<p>DAN: Oh, come on. See, this guy&#8217;s nickname is gentle Ben and you are seeing why right here. He is a humble, nice guy. Look, I&#8217;ll throw it out there again. If you need help for the troops, I mean</p>
<p>GLENN: All right.</p>
<p>DAN: I just want to help the troops.</p>
<p>GLENN: Ben, I can&#8217;t thank you enough for helping with this project. I know that you have been involved with Impact a Hero and</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: I have. And the organizations like this, there&#8217;s a fella named Dick Lynch in Cincinnati.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve done two events in Houston, and the severely wounded, I mean, the golf industry has been fantastic to these returning heroes, and they you know, they fit people with prosthetics and the golf industry gives them golf clubs and they provide recreation and provide them help so they can get and they actually go out to the business community and try to get people to hire them. They&#8217;re wonderful. So we have people to thank like that.</p>
<p>GLENN: Now, you probably feel free to say you are all out of time if you don&#8217;t want to get into this because</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: No, I&#8217;ve got plenty of time.</p>
<p>GLENN: Do you no, no. I was asking you to hold that back just in case you didn&#8217;t want to answer this. Do you think Tiger Woods; is he going to be able to get his game back?</p>
<p>Can you be a can you really be a good golfer if you are unsettled inside, until you&#8217;ve solved the things that you&#8217;ve got going on inside?</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Well, troubles manifest themselves on the golf course. I mean, to play the golf at such a high level that he has and with the things going on in his life, he&#8217;s its going to take some time. But he&#8217;s that good.</p>
<p>I mean, he&#8217;s naturally gifted. But you cannot play the game at the level that you want to play without a clear conscience. It&#8217;s just not possible. When there are a lot of things that he has to work on obviously. He&#8217;s getting better but, you know, gosh, it&#8217;s going to be a while, Glenn.</p>
<p>GLENN: I mean, I really, you know, I think you know, and I don&#8217;t know him at all and I don&#8217;t know if you do, either, you know, if you really know him. But when I saw, you know, what he was involved in, I thought, boy, this guy has some you know, and he just has some issues.</p>
<p>And I&#8217;m a guy who, you know, I&#8217;m a recovering alcoholic. So you want to talk issues, bring them on. You know, I&#8217;m a guy who has lived a tough life before and I understand it, and it&#8217;s tough.</p>
<p>But when I saw that, I thought, you know, here is a guy who is really well, how much does he make? A billion dollars for everybody?</p>
<p>PAT: They just had it yesterday, $90 million a year. But he&#8217;s worth about a billion or more.</p>
<p>GLENN: He&#8217;s worth about a billion. And so what kind of industry was Tiger Woods.</p>
<p>Did you do you think that the people around him knew and were just looking at him as a paycheck and nobody had the courage to step up and say, what are you doing, man? Or was he good at hiding it?</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Well, he well, he must have been. I must say that I&#8217;m on the senior tour, which is the age of 50 and above, and we were removed from the situation but, you know, I guess maybe some people knew but we didn&#8217;t know any, any more to the extent of what happened.</p>
<p>And it&#8217;s you know, it was just so sensational and so it was just, you know, our mouths dropped open every day. Nobody knew. But it&#8217;s just sad.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s so sad. And, you know, he has been a lot of people, a lot of golfers who knew him, you know, it was just, it was sad, the whole situation. It just, it was so, so sensational but, you know, he got himself into it and he&#8217;s got to pay the price.</p>
<p>And, you know, golf is a singular game, but you have to play, you have to play with a clear conscience is the only way that you can play. You have to be very subtle in your life to play well, and that&#8217;s a given.</p>
<p>GLENN: You know, the one thing that I have been you know, this 8/28 in Washington is really all about restoring some heroes and my son said to me one day he&#8217;s 5 and we were reading something and he talked about, you know, I said about a hero.</p>
<p>And he said, no, he&#8217;s daddy can&#8217;t fly, he doesn&#8217;t have a cape. And I realized we have lost all of our heroes. Ben, when you were young, when I was young, you know, there were some heroes and they were sports figures and people that you could look up to.</p>
<p>We don&#8217;t really have that, nor have we had for a long time. Everybody has been destroyed.</p>
<p>I met Albert Pujols a few weeks ago. He seems like a decent man. Is there are there</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Oh, from what I&#8217;ve read about him, he&#8217;s just as solid as a rock.</p>
<p>GLENN: Yeah.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: But you are right, Glenn. I mean, we all want people in our lives to look up to.</p>
<p>GLENN: Yeah. I mean, that was the thing about, that was the thing about Tiger was you thought you could look up to him because he was a do you think is there does that ever come across people in your field, does that ever come across your mind that, you know, you do have kids?</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Oh, I&#8217;ve had I&#8217;ve been so lucky in golf, Glenn. We&#8217;ve had some people from the past that, I mean, people could always look up to Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer and Ben Hogan and people from yesteryear. They were, they were the people who led our game.</p>
<p>Golf is an amazing game. It&#8217;s been around for 500 years over in Scotland and it&#8217;s a very traditional game, and you Glenn, basically what you do, Glenn, you play tournament golf but you play by the rules, and there are very swift penalties if you don&#8217;t.</p>
<p>GLENN: Well, I was really impressed</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: And usually it involves the conscience.</p>
<p>GLENN: Who was the guy, who was the guy Dan, you probably remember that took an extra stroke when he didn&#8217;t have to nobody known that he did it? Do you remember who that was?</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Oh, Glenn, we have people that, you know, we have people who call penalties on themselves.</p>
<p>GLENN: That&#8217;s fantastic.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: That&#8217;s the way our game threads through the generation.</p>
<p>GLENN: That&#8217;s fantastic. That&#8217;s the way it should be.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: Well, it&#8217;s pretty simple.</p>
<p>GLENN: Yeah.</p>
<p>CRENSHAW: I mean, you&#8217;ve got a conscience and you better do right.</p>

<p>The largest molecules ever found in space have been spotted by scientists, it has been reported, and they are called buck balls.<br />

The roughly spherical molecules consist of a &#8220;third type of carbon&#8221;, after graphite and diamond, which occur widely on Earth.<br />
 <br />
Bucky balls, on the other hand, have only been created on this planet in laboratories and have never before been proven to exist elsewhere.<br />
 <br />
The BBC reported that a research group used an infrared telescope owned by NASA to spot the buck balls in &#8220;a cloud of cosmic dust surrounding a distant star.&#8221;<br />
 <br />
They were looking for something else when they spotted the infrared signature of large objects that turned out to be buck balls.<br />
 <br />
The signature came from a star in the southern hemisphere constellation of Ara, 6,500 light-years away.<br />
 <br />
Bucky balls are molecules made of 60 carbon atoms joined together in a sphere.</p>
<p>Their name is a nod to Richard Buckminster Fuller, who &#8211; among other things &#8211; created architectural designs for geodesic domes, such as can be seen at Cornwall&#8217;s Eden Project.</p>
