Washington, D.C. – The Susan G. Komen Foundation announced today that it has bowed to the pressure of the pro-abortion lobby.

And will again fund the largest abortion provider in the country, Planned Parenthood, undermining Komen’s stated mission of “fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.”

After receiving a letter from U.S. Senators, including pro-abortion advocates John Kerry, Al Franken, and others, Komen back-peddled its decision to stop funding an organization that conducts procedures that are actually linked to increasing the risk of breast cancer, according to an article written by obstetricians and gynecologists, Induced Abortion and Breast Cancer.

The reversal comes on the heels of news that Komen’s donations jumped 100% after deciding to defund Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading abortion provider that is currently under criminal investigation in multiple venues.

Liberty Counsel Action is encouraging its members to cancel any checks and credit card contributions made in the wake of Komen’s initial decision to defund Planned Parenthood and asking any pro-life participants in Komen’s June 2 Global Race for the Cure run in Washington, D.C. to withdraw.

Matt Barber, Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action, says that anyone who sincerely wants to contribute to the fight against breast cancer has dozens if not hundreds of other options from hospitals to other nonprofit organizations, but Komen should be off the list.

“It’s a sad day for those who both seek a breast cancer cure and who respect the dignity of all human life,” said Barber. “Susan G. Komen for the Cure should recognize that abortion is not a cure for anything.  Perhaps they should change the name to Susan G. Komen for the Cause.

What a tragic paradox. There is mounting medical evidence that indicates abortion significantly increases the risk for breast cancer.”

Calling Komen’s decision “the coward’s way out,” Barber said that the decision to once again partner with Planned Parenthood was nothing more than capitulation to “tremendous left-wing political pressure.” 

“They have chosen death over life – cancer over cure,” said Barber. “Instead of showing courage, they caved. Komen is now part of the breast cancer problem rather than the solution.”

Rape is a cruel violation of a helpless victim. In addition to the physical torment involved, rape reduces the victim to subhuman status.

however, sexual assaults have become instruments of policy for extracting false confessions, satisfying the boundless sadisms and sexual perversities of the jailers, punishing the helpless victim and leaving each of them with a sense of dehumanization.  These horrors keep playing out, unabated, in the streets, prisons and dungeons of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The 19-year old beautiful Taraneh was not shot with a single bullet to her chest as was the case with Neda Agha Sultan. There were no bystanders in the dungeon with a cell phone to capture the prolonged torture, rape, and sodomy of this teen-ager.

On June 28, 2009, Taraneh Mousavi, a young Iranian woman, was literally scooped off the streets without any provocation on her part and with no arrest warrant.

This young woman was taken to one of the Islamists torture chambers where she was repeatedly brutalized, raped, and sodomized by Ahmadinejad’s agents and with the consent of the “supreme leader” Ali Khamenei.

Near death from repeated beating, raping and sodomizing, the fragile young woman, bleeding profusely from her rectum and womb, was transferred to a hospital in Karaj near Tehran.

Eventually, an anonymous person notified Taraneh’s family that she had had an “accident” and had to be taken to the hospital.

The devastated family rushed to the hospital only to find no trace of their beloved daughter because, the gang of Islamic thugs, the foot-soldiers of Allah’s “divine representative” Ali Khamenei, decided to eliminate all traces of their savagery.

These beasts of Allah removed the dying woman from the hospital before the family’s arrival, burned it beyond recognition and dumped her charred remains on the side of the road.

Taraneh means melody in Persian. According to her bereaved family and friends, true to her name, she used to sing with a beautiful warm voice and played the piano with skill. It is beyond imaginable cruelty to have her precious young life extinguished after an extended period of torture and rape.

Like Neda, another young woman, whose chest was ripped by the bullet of a murdering Islamist as she peacefully walked along with a throng of peaceful demonstrators, Taraneh’s tragedy gives a glimpse of the true face of Islamic fascism and its brutality.

The Taranehs and Nedas of Iran shall remain as eternal testaments to the depravity of Islamic fascism and the horrors it has visited on innocent people. And these young victims of the Islamic tyranny are by no means isolated cases.

Tragically, women as a gender bear the brunt of Islamic misogyny. Women are systematically exploited, maltreated and disenfranchised from their God-given rights.

How did Taraneh end up in the hands of the Islamist murderers?  According to numerous reports, the 19-year-old Taraneh Mousavi, was among hundreds arrested on June 28, 2009 in Iran’s post-election aftermath.

She was standing outside her school when she was arrested, along with a group of about 14 others, blindfolded and taken to an interrogation and torture center.

Witnesses present at the scene have reported that the basijis militia—hired government thugs–were giving the exceptionally beautiful Taraneh a particularly hard time.

When the other detainees were allowed to contact their families and she was not, she sensed there would be trouble and gave her parents’ telephone number to a few of the women there who in turn contacted her family after being released.

Our great Zoroaster, the luminous ancient prophet of Persia, spoke of the ongoing battle between the forces of good under Ahuramazda—God, and the forces of evil directed by Ahriman—the Satan.

Zoroaster warned us not to fall for the enticements or be deceived by the machinations of Ahriman.  He further informed us that evil can be recognized by the deeds of its people; people who would oppose the precepts of Ahuramazda.

The savage Islamists killed the magnificent child-woman, Taraneh, after a long period of tortuous imprisonment and rape. By killing her, the agents of evil aimed to silence freedom loving Iranians. But assuredly they can never kill freedom. They only kill the body, but the spirit of freedom lives on.

According to the Islamic Sharia practiced by the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is impermissible to execute a woman if she is virgin. A handy excuse for the torture savages to satisfy their beastly lust by arranging a “wedding” ceremony before the eventual execution of the victim.

The female prisoner is forced to consummate the “marriage” by submitting sexually to one of the chosen jail-keepers. A virgin woman gets forcibly raped before being hanged. This is yet another gift from Islam to humanity!

Lest reports of horrific mistreatment of innocent prisoners of conscience be taken as baseless rumors and innuendoes, in a letter dated June 12, 2009, a Presidential candidate, Mehdi Karoobi, explicitly states the violations.

The letter addressed to the head of the Assembly of Experts on Leadership—the highest body of the ruling gang of clerics—Karoobi demands that an impartial commission be appointed to investigate the torture and rape reports of detainees, both women as well as men.

Mr. Karoobi writes: “I do not think that prisoners in the pre-revolution regime (i.e. the Shah’s) had seen or heard of such crimes. Some detained individuals have reported such savage rapes that have left the women victims with physical scars and ruptures in their reproductive systems.

At the same time, young imprisoned boys have been raped in such atrocious ways causing them depression, physical and psychological pain, leading to their complete withdrawal from everybody.”

For the past 33-years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been denying and violating a long-suffering people of all its human rights. The regime is guilty of beating, torturing, raping, and killing prisoners of conscience—political, religious, intellectuals, artists and others.

Women, chronically oppressed and denied their basic human and family rights, have been the ones most viciously abused by the Islamic system and its hired plain clothes and Basij members.

To maintain its suffocating rule, the regime metes out punishments reminiscent of the worst governments in the annals of human history. Amputation of hands and feet, blinding of eyes, hanging, and stoning victims after perfunctory trials in kangaroo courts without legal representation is common-place under the terror rule of the Islamists

The Islamists’ ruling Iran—the curse of Allah—heartlessly hang gays on the grounds that same sex relationship is a capital offense according to the Islamic ethos.

Yet, these same beasts gang rape innocent young men in their medieval dungeons, after having arrested them for participating in peaceful demonstrations.

The horrors visited on innocent Iranian detainees by the goons of the Islamic Republic with the consent of the head-criminal, Ali Khamenei, and the orders of the brutal “President” Ahmadinejad, make every decent human shudder with revulsion.

It is sadly reminiscent of Nazi Germany. The Nazi’s use of piano wires for nooses to torment maximally their victims by slow death has been matched by the Islamist Fascists’ resort to sexual brutalization that eventuates in death.

Freedom-lovers and decent humans like Taraneh and Neda, like millions of others, did not believe that a murdering Islamist Ahmadinejad was their President.

They did not approve of his rabid attacks on Israel, demanding its eradication; they did not condone his largess on Islamist terrorists such as Hizbollah and Hamas; they did not want religious minorities, such as Baha’is, to be deprived of their rights of citizenship simply because they did not believe in his religious zealotry; they did not want to live as second class citizens because of their gender.

Tragically, there are people in position of power who turn a blind eye to these horrors with their sole concern for their own self-interests. When Robert Gibbs, former spokesman for the White House, shamelessly declares that Mahmood Ahmadinejad, the fraud, is the elected President of Iran, one wonders about Gibbs’ humaneness.

How would Gibbs feel if Taraneh was his daughter and Ahmadinejad had her blood on his hands? Would Gibbs, or for that matter President Obama, call this murderer Ahmadinejad, a duly elected President worthy of shaking his bloodstained hand?

In short, the Islamic Republic of Iran represents devastation and death if not immediately disempowered by all people and nations that value the Universal Human Rights for all. It is timely to bring to mind the warning of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” The Islamic Republic of Iran is indeed a miscarriage of justice, a cruel repressive rule, and an imminent threat not only to Iranians but also to the world at large.

Most will agree that when you have a history that is less than stellar…you make every effort to distance yourself from it, as far as possible. And in the case of the descendents of the Third Reich…light-years away…

That is what makes their recent behavior quite puzzling.

Germany is considered, under Chancellor Angela Merkel, to be one of Israel’s most loyal allies. This week, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle announced they are upgrading ‘Palestinian’ diplomatic representation in Berlin from a delegation to a mission headed by an ambassador. Now it’s true that France, Spain, Portugal and Ireland have already taken similar actions, and true these countries have dubious histories with Israel, but Germany’s move is more concerning.

Their anti-Semitic history going back to the Hep-Hep Riots of 1819, to their connection with Islam during WWII, Germany should steer clear of any and all traces of their illicit past…and this move to show honor to Israel’s enemies is troubling, at best.

The PA (Palestinian Authority) has displayed paltering in their agreements with Israel, violence and barbaric behavior toward Israeli civilians, and have been the vanguard of hate in the region. 

Is this the team the Heinies want to back?

To the German government: Shouldn’t you be focusing on a true tabula rasa with the Jewish people, rather than mimicking a dog returning to its vomit?

It’s worth a pregnant pause to ponder your process…

As a book reviewer I receive countless requests to read books and, when I received one regarding “Kosher Jesus” by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, I was intrigued by the title. In addition to fathering nine children, the rabbi has written 27 books, is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and the profile on his website is filled with achievements and encomiums

I was, quite frankly, floored by his book. As a longtime informal student of world religions, I found his comparisons between the biblical and historical Jesus impressive.

As word of this book gets out, I suspect he will be contested by Christians because he meticulously reclaims the historical Jesus as quintessentially Jewish without a hint of the Christology that was applied to his life following his death at the hands of the Romans.

With some irony, it is another rabbi, Immanuel Schochet, who recently issued a letter banning anyone from reading “Kosher Jesus”, calling it heretical. Rabbi Boteach replied saying that “America is not Iran and rabbis in the American Jewish community are not the Revolutionary Guard.” Well said!

Debuting officially on February 1st, I suspect Rabbi Boteach is going to come in for a world of disputation from elements of the both the Jewish and Christian communities.

Their problem will be that Rabbi Boteach is a serious student of the Torah, the Talmud (rabbinical analysis and commentary on the Torah), and the New Testament.

His book is testament (no pun intended) to his central assertion that Jesus was a charismatic rabbi, a Jew preaching exclusively to Jews at a time when Israel was seeking to throw off the occupation of the greatest pagan power of his era, the Roman Empire.

Indeed, their rebellion would culminate in the destruction of the Second Temple and the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Jews in 70 CE.

Rabbi Boteach dissects the gospels, all written well after the death of Jesus, and the writings of Saul of Tarsus, saying in effect, that Christianity wrongly asserts that the Covenant and laws of Judaism had been replaced by a religion based entirely on faith in the belief that Jesus died for the sins of the world and accepting him as a personal savior removes one’s personal responsibility to live a holy life, a righteous life, and one that accepts the Torah as God’s word and law.

Among Jewish and Christian martyrs who died for their faith, Rabbi Boteach places Jesus as the best known Jew in the world. He condemns the New Testament for seeking accommodation with the Roman Empire, composed of idol-worshipping pagans, by turning the historical Jesus into an enemy of Judaism and thereby letting loose two thousand years of anti-Semitism.

The rabbi is not seeking to convert Christians to Judaism and notes several times that Judaism does not proselytize. “Theologically, Christians and Jews think differently about the nature of the world.”

Instead, he seeks to restore Jesus “to his authentic Jewish roots” to “allow a new era of Jewish-Christian reapproachement to begin.” Indeed, in the wake of the Holocaust and the reestablishment of the nation of Israel, it is clear this change has been occurring.

In a time of resurgent Islamism, Rabbi Boteach rightly says that “Jews and Christians have so much in common, we must unite behind our democratic values, defend the embattled State of Israel, and participate in a unified front against those who have vowed to defeat us.”

Amen to that!

“Kosher Jesus” will not be an easy book for Christians to read because it rebuts much of what the New Testament has to say about Jesus. It eviscerates the claims of the gospel writers and of Paul, an apostle who never knew the Jesus he promoted as part-god, part-human, a distinctly pagan belief. The Romans routinely believed their emperors were gods. The Greek pantheon of gods had distinctly human characteristics and failings.

“Restoring his Jewish identity makes (Jesus) available to us as a flesh-and-blood hero who fought for what is right, in place of a celestial icon utterly detached from human experience”, says Rabbi Boteach.

The perfection attributed to Jesus, the rabbi notes, is comparable to that attributed to the Buddha and, in the Hindu faith, to Krishna. Humanity longs for such perfection, but Judaism believes that we achieve righteousness in our struggle to do the right thing, by our acts, not by faith alone.

Jews know it is human to fail and that is why God offers redemption. Indeed, the word “Israel” means “he who wrestles with God.”

I recommend “Kosher Jesus” to anyone who wrestles with God, who wrestles with their human imperfections, and who strives to live a righteous life.

Today, many will decide to no longer sit back with a victim mentality, but to take charge of their lives and make positive changes. Why not you?

Today, many will take the action necessary to make a difference. Why not you?

Today, many will make the commitment to be a better mother, father, son, daughter, student, teacher, worker, boss, brother, sister, & so much more. Why not you?

Today is a new day!
Many will seize this day.
Many will live it to the fullest.

When it comes to the Middle East the US administration has been conducting policy based on erroneous assumptions.

Since proper conjectures are key to successful outcomes, it is no surprise that frustration due to unattained goals, missteps leading to unhealthy outcomes and long-term misfortunes have been topping the list of US foreign policy roster in the Middle East.

I have listed six key assumptions guiding US policies and Administration’s thinking. They are wrong; they all require a reality check. So let’s get started.

Assumption: Economic sanctions will convince the Iranian government to end their quest for nuclear weapons.

Reality: The Iranian government believes that economic sanctions will hurt, but not as much as caving in to American demands. In a culture where false honor precedes anything that moves under the sun, where life without “honor” is far worse than death, where honor killing is a religious diktat, caving in to economic sanctions is equivalent to an unconditional surrender.

And surrendering to the “Great Satan”, merely because life is a little tough, is an inexcusable, dishonorable behavior; it is treason worthy of a death sentence.  

Assumption: If the only option left for ending Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons is the military option, then the US will have to bomb Iran’s nuclear project sites.

Reality:  Restricting a military option to bombing the nuclear project sites will leave Iran free to retaliate and bring about havoc to the world economy and to Iran’s neighbors, including Israel.

The proper way of handling Iran’s nuclear aspirations is to go after their military, disable their navy, air force and rockets, then target the regime and try to facilitate an internal uprising by the Iranian people.

The nuclear project can be taken care of once the other objectives have been accomplished.

Assumption: The Arab Spring will bring forth democracy

Reality: Islam and democracy are like oil and water—they do not mix. Islamists elected to power through democratic means would probably respect the rules of democracy until they feel powerful enough to inject their religious rulings, their sharia, into the courts and into the daily life of their citizens.

Militant Islam may be delayed a bit longer, but it will follow behind naturally. The process may take several years as true democracy will be eroded slowly until full Iranian style dictatorial autocracy replaces democracy. Still, the autocratic rulers will continue to refer to the regime as democratic.  

Assumption: The Iraq war was not a total waste. Iraq is the first democracy in the Middle East. It serves as a model for the rest of the Arab countries. It may have inspired the Arab Spring.

Reality:  Americans make the mistake assuming that once a country conducts free elections it becomes a democracy. That is incredibly naïve.

Although free elections constitute one of the most rudimentary conditions for a democracy to survive and thrive, it is merely one prerequisite out of many.

True democracy requires a store of democratic institutions, a civil rather than religious legal system, civil rights including minority rights, free press and freedom of speech, separation of powers including a system of checks and balances ensuring that no single entity may assume absolute powers.

But most of all; a true democracy requires a country’s citizens to accept the system, participate and cooperate, so that freedom does not evolve into anarchy.

The Iraqi democracy is not fully functional. Other than free elections, its democratic institutions are lacking; its legal system is faulty; there is no true separation of powers; a good portion of the Iraqi people does not accept the system, and minority rights are questionable.

Assumption: Peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians will bring about peace

Reality: There are clear red lines that neither the Jewish Israeli people nor the Palestinian Arabs will ever accept. Israel will not be able to accept a Palestinian right of return because once Palestinians are able to flood Israel with their families and belongings it will bring about Israel’s demise. The Palestinians are unwilling to accept any deal that does not include their right of return.

Israel wants to live in peace within secure borders and assurances that the Palestinian Arabs will not be able to transform the West Bank to a terror base once peace is signed between the two peoples.

The Palestinians are looking for an independent state, including an ability to shape a strong military with imported arms with no Israeli supervision.

There is an issue of trust. Israel does not trust the Palestinians since the Palestinians offer daily evidence of their true intentions—demonizing Israeli Jews, defining the conflict as a religious war, educating their young to hate the Jews employing Nazi style anti-Semitism, glorifying terror and child-killer terrorists, refusing to recognize Israel as a Jewish State, rewriting history and denying Jewish rights to their ancestors’ homeland, and keeping an ongoing claim to the territory known as Israel proper.

The Palestinians do not intend on giving up any of their demands, attitudes and demeanors. The Palestinian public has been brainwashed with hate and demonization of Jews for too long.

It has become impossible for Palestinian leaders to talk this Palestinian generation into accepting peace with the “sub-human” Jews.

Assumption: The only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a two-state arrangement, both living peacefully next to each other.

Reality: When people talk about a two-state solution they ignore the fact that the Palestinian territories are divided between a Hamas-controlled Gaza and a Fatah-controlled West Bank. If one counts Israel as one of the states to the solution, then there are at the minimum three rather than two states.

The third state, the Hamas-controlled Gaza, has built into its DNA the goal of destroying the Jewish state. It’s the main rationale justifying Hamas existence. It cannot be removed from Hamas charter unless Hamas is removed from the political scene.

The PLO considers Gaza as an integral part of a Palestinian state. A two-state solution between Israel and the PLO excluding Gaza is not acceptable to the Palestinians in the West Bank since they define their Palestinian state as one that includes Gaza and its people. Consequently, a two-state solution under the present conditions is infeasible.

Deputies in Knoxville, Tennessee working with Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant and seized computer and other evidence from the home of Adam Eugene Cox.

After an investigation into an internet death threat against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio came to light, according to a report from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office on Friday.

The 33-year old Cox was arrested Friday and taken into custody on an unrelated arrest warrant for an aggravated assault and is currently being investigated as the prime suspect in the Arpaio death threat investigation.

In that threat, Cox stated Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his family would be killed.

His postings read in part: I plan to kill Arpaio first. He will be filled with a thousand bullet holes before the year is out. I promise you this. He won’t [expletive] with Obama. He will be buried 10 feet under and his whole family will be murdered along with him.

Cox is suspected of becoming angry when Sheriff Arpaio responded to a citizens’ complaint regarding President Barack Obama’s birth records and questioning of his Constitutional right to hold the office of U.S. President.

Upon receiving the criminal complaint, Arpaio stated he would launch an investigation into the validity of Obama’s birth documents.

The suspect’s mother confirmed to investigators that her son is a fanatical supporter of Obama. According to Knox County Sheriff’s deputies, Cox has a history of violent behavior.

Arpaio’s investigation into the Obama birth certificate question has received a fair amount of press coverage since the investigation began late last year.

The case is being handled by the Sheriff’s volunteer cold case posse, made up of retired police detectives and lawyers, and at no expense to the taxpayer.

Their initial findings are expected to be announced within 30 days, Arpaio says.

Arpaio says, “I will not be intimated against pursuing this investigation into Obama’s eligibility to serve as the President of the United States.”

The case involving Cox is one of numerous death threats made against Arpaio including several different Mexican drug cartels which have threatened the Sheriff’s life and placed a contract nearing $4 million dollars for his execution.

Friday’s arrest, however, is the first death threat involving the Obama investigation?

“Every threat will be taken seriously, and the Sheriff knows that his position often attracts threats but he draws the line when his family is threatened,” says Deputy Chief David Trombi. Whose detectives have overseen the threat investigations against Arpaio?

This particular threat took deputies from Arizona to California where search warrants were served on Google headquarters to Knoxville, Tennessee. At Google, deputies served a separate search warrant involving a different threat against Arpaio related to the recent shooting death of Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputy William Coleman.

In addition to repeatedly blasting Sheriff Arpaio, the Justice Department is expected to file a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Arizona asking a federal judge to order changes in the sheriff’s office.

Critics of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Obama believe the Arpaio case is designed to coincide with the U.S. Supreme Court’s hearing on Arizona’s immigration law (SB1070), and as strategy to strengthen the president’s position with the Hispanic voting base.

“It’s not beyond Obama’s bag of tricks to portray border security proponents as racist and xenophobic,” warns former police commander Mike Snopes.

Meanwhile, Homeland Security Department Secretary Janet Napolitano wasted no time piling on Arpaio. She stripped his department of its authority to enforce immigration laws and regulations.

“Accordingly, and effective immediately, DHS is terminating (the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office’s) 287(g) jail model agreement and is restricting the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office access to the Secure Communities program,” stated Napolitano.

The Maricopa Sheriff’s “systematic disregard for basic constitutional protections has created a wall of distrust between the sheriff’s office and large segments of the community, which dramatically compromises the ability to protect and serve the people,” said Thomas Perez, the Assistant Attorney General Obama appointed to run the DOJ’s bloated civil rights division.

Ironically, it was less than a year ago that a top Obama immigration official defended the Maricopa County Sheriff’s program to crackdown on illegal immigration, which clearly triggered the DOJ racial profiling investigation, according to the Judicial Watch blog.

Dozens of illegal aliens with criminal records have been apprehended, restoring law and order in a large Phoenix business district rife with solicitation, trespassing, loitering and public health ordinance violations created by day laborers.

Earlier this year the assistant secretary for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (John Morton) said there was no evidence of racial profiling by deputies in Maricopa County and that the majority of the illegal immigrants arrested have been convicted of serious crimes, according to the Judicial Watch blog.

“Sixty nine percent of the people we receive in Maricopa County have been convicted of Level 1 and Level 2 offenses, which are serious felony offenses, drug trafficking, assaults, rape,” Morton said during a meeting with editors of a local newspaper.

He added that the Maricopa program has been consistent with meeting his agency’s priority of arresting illegal immigrants who commit serious crimes.

The only constant in the life of individuals and nations is change.

Since the beginning of the last century, the process or rate of change has accelerated with the invention and availability of a myriad of machines, technologies that have altered the lifestyle of Americans as well as of millions around the world.

Let me put it in personal terms. When I was born in the late 1930s, my Mother washed the family laundry by hand and hung it out to dry on sunny days or in the basement of our home if it was raining.

We were not poor. We were middle class.

My Father was a Certified Public Accountant and we lived in a spacious suburban home in an upscale New Jersey community. Mass produced washers and dryers would arrive after the end of World War Two.

The differences between lower economic classes, the middle class, and upper classes were well defined back then. All, however, generally held the same values regarding societal institutions such as marriage, religion, national pride.

Those values have eroded since the 1960s and Charles Murray, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, whose new book, “Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960-2010” ($27.00, Crown Forum) tells you how and why.

Murray takes the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22,, 1963 as the starting point, noting, for example, that “Not only were Americans almost always married, mothers normally stayed at home to raise their children. More than 80 percent of married women with children were not working outside the home in 1963.”

“Part of these widely shared values lay in the religiosity of America in 1963” and Murray compares this to a 1963 Gallup poll in which “Only one percent of respondents said they did not have a religious preference, and half said they had attended a worship service in the previous seven days. These answers showed almost no variations across classes.”

“The racial differences in income, education, and occupations were all huge, noted Murray. “The civil rights movement was the biggest domestic issue of the early 1960s…” By 1963, “Poverty had been dropping so rapidly for so many years that Americans thought things were going well.”

The changes in values that many Americans deplore today were coming.

“The first oral contraceptive pill had gone on the market in 1960 and its use was spreading widely.”

Murray points out that “The leading cohorts of the baby boomers were in their teens by November 21, 1963, and, for better or worse, they were going to be who they were going to be.

No one understood at the time what a big difference it could make if one age group of a population is abnormally large. Everyone was about to find out.”

“This book,” wrote Murray, “is about the evolution in American society that has taken place since November 21, 1963, leading to the formation of classes that are different in kind and in their degree of separation from anything that the nation has ever known.”

The culture that Americans shared uniquely and in contrast to much of the world, warns Murray “is unraveling” as “America is coming apart at the seams—not the seams of race or ethnicity, but of class.”

Murray defines the new upper class “as the most successful five percent of adults ages 25 and older who are working in managerial positions, in the professions (medicine, the law, engineering and architecture, the sciences, and university faculty), and in content-production jobs in the media.”

“As of 2010, about 23 percent of all employed persons aged 25 or older were in these occupations, which means that about 1,427,000 persons constituted the top 5 percent.

Since 69 percent of adults in these occupations who were ages 25 and older were married in 2010, about 2.4 million adults were in new-upper-class families as heads of households or spouse.” That’s a very small slice of 330 million Americans.

They are not the “millionaires and billionaires” that President Obama is always blathering about. They are the new “establishment” that determine much about the nation’s culture, economy, and future.

To boil down Murray’s extensive research and reporting, that top 5 percent are largely isolated from the rest of the population because they tend to live where their counterparts live and interact mostly with one another in all aspects of their lives. They are the new “elite.”

“Rolling back income inequality won’t make any difference in the isolation of the new upper class from the rest of America.” They are wealthy by most standards and Murray expects them to become wealthier over time. Thus, all the talk of “fairness” and “a fair share” is meaningless.

“Fairness” as many point out, is just another word for “class warfare.” It has always been the siren call of communism.

Efforts in America and in Europe to create “fairness” in the form of our “entitlement” programs and the extensive European socialism have reached a point where they threaten to collapse our own and the economies of many European nations.

Murray says “We have been the product of the cultural capital bequeathed to us by the system the founders laid down; a system that says people must be free to live life as they see fit and to be responsible for the consequences of their actions; that it is not the government’s job to protect people from themselves; that it is not the government’s job to stage-manage how people interact with one another.

Discard the system that created the cultural capital, and the qualities we have loved about Americans will go away.”

The system, of course, is free-market capitalism, deregulation, and lower marginal income tax rates, all within the context of the U.S. Constitution. It is under attack by the President of the United States and a cohort of civil service and industrial unions, along with liberal members of Congress.

It is why the Republican primaries have been, in part, a desperate effort to educate Americans to the reason America is in peril and why Americans must strive to restore the values that were shared on November 22, 1963.

Georgia citizens today delivered sworn testimony to a court that Barack Obama is slam-dunk disqualified from having his name on the 2012 presidential ballot in the state.

Because his father never was a U.S. citizen, which prevents him from qualifying as a “natural-born citizen” as the U.S. Constitution requires for a president.

The historic hearing was the first time that a court has accepted arguments on the merits of the controversy over Obama’s status.

His critics say he never met the constitutional requirements to occupy the Oval Office, and the states and Congress failed in their obligations to make sure only a qualified president is inaugurated. His supporters, meanwhile, argue he won the 2008 election and therefore was “vetted” by America.

The hearing was before Judge Michael Malihi of the Georgia state Office of State Administrative Hearings. In Georgia, a state law requires “every candidate for federal” office who is certified by the state executive committees of a political party or who files a notice of candidacy “shall meet the constitutional and statutory qualifications for holding the office being sought.”

State law also grants the secretary of state and any “elector who is eligible to vote for a candidate” in the state the authority to raise a challenge to a candidate’s qualifications, the judge determined.

Citizens bringing the complaints include David Farrar, Leah Lax, Thomas Malaren and Laurie Roth, represented by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has handled numerous cases concerning Obama’s eligibility;

David Weldon represented by attorney Van R. Irion of Liberty Legal Foundation; and Carl Swensson and Kevin Richard Powell, represented by J. Mark Hatfield. Cody Judy is raising a challenge because he also wants to be on the ballot.

Several of the attorneys introduced passages from Obama’s own writings that Barack Obama Sr. was his father. They then introduced evidence that the father never was a U.S. citizen, that he was a citizen of Kenya at the time of his son’s birth and was therefore a subject of the United Kingdom.

His father’s citizenship, they said, precludes him from serving as president, since the Founders required that officer to be a “natural-born citizen,” not just a “citizen.”

The term is not defined in the Constitution, but evidence introduced included a passage from a 1875 Supreme Court opinion that states:”The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that.

At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.”

Weldon explained in his presentation that the 14th Amendment granting citizenship did not redefine Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, which includes the requirement for a president to be a “natural-born citizen.”

The attorney argued also that another later court case referenced citizenship in the dicta, not the central holding in the case, and thus was not controlling.

Many of Irion’s arguments were echoed by Hatfield, a strategy that at least one constitutional expert, Herb Titus, said was sound.

Titus taught constitutional law, common law, and other subjects for nearly 30 years at five different American Bar Association-approved law schools. From 1986 to 1993, he served as the founding dean of the College of Law and Government in Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va. Prior to his academic career, he served as a trial attorney and a special assistant United States attorney with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and Kansas City, Mo.

He told WND the fact that Obama’s father was a Kenyan citizen should be sufficient.

“That is much stronger than the question of where he was born,” he said. “That alone is evidence. … They don’t need anything additional.”

Taitz argued multiple prongs of the case: that the birth certificate released by the White House is a forgery; that he probably has had several citizenships, such as when he was listed in Indonesia as an Indonesian citizen; and that he’s been known under the names Obama, Soetoro and Soebarkah.

She also had a private investigator, Susan Daniels, testify that it appears Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security number.

Documents and imaging expert Doug Vogt asserted the birth documentation released by the White House was a creation of a software program and not a scan of any original document. That would mean Obama’s documentation, despite what the White House released in April, is still under wraps.

Obama and his attorney boycotted the proceedings, issuing a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp that the judge was letting attorneys “run amok.”

The statement came after Malihi refused to quash a subpoena for Obama’s testimony and his records, which effectively was ignored by the White House.

The judge is expected to review the evidence and make a recommendation to the state whether there is reason to be concerned about Obama’s name on the 2012 ballot.

He apparently will have no defense evidence, but Kemp had warned Obama about that.

Kemp said late last night in a response to a demand from Obama’s attorney that he simply order the hearing stopped.

“Anything you and your client place in the record in response to the challenge will be beneficial to my review of the initial decision; however, if you and your client choose to suspend your participation in the OSAH proceedings, please understand that you do so at your own peril.”

WND reported earlier on the stunning decision from Malihi, who refused to quash the subpoena even after Obama outlined his defense strategy for such state-level challenges, which have erupted in half a dozen or more states already.

“Presidential electors and Congress, not the state of Georgia, hold the constitutional responsibility for determining the qualifications of presidential candidates,” Obama’s lawyer argued.

“The election of President Obama by the presidential electors, confirmed by Congress, makes the documents and testimony sought by plaintiff irrelevant.”

But the judge thought otherwise.

“Defendant argues that ‘if enforced, [the subpoena] requires him to interrupt duties as president of the United States’ to attend a hearing in Atlanta, Georgia. However, defendant fails to provide any legal authority to support his motion to quash the subpoena to attend,” he wrote in his order.

“Defendant’s motion suggests that no president should be compelled to attend a court hearing. This may be correct. But defendant has failed to enlighten the court with any legal authority,” the judge continued.

“Specifically, defendant has failed to cite to any legal authority evidencing why his attendance is ‘unreasonable or oppressive, or that the testimony … [is] irrelevant, immaterial, or cumulative and unnecessary to a party’s preparation or presentation at the hearing, or that basic fairness dictates that the subpoena should not be enforced,’” the judge said.

Jablonski also had argued that the state should mind its own business.

“The sovereignty of the state of Georgia does not extend beyond the limits of the State. … Since the sovereignty of the state does not extend beyond its territorial limits, an administrative subpoena has no effect,” the filing argued.

Titus said, “‘Natural born citizen’ in relation to the office of president, and whether someone is eligible, was in the Constitution from the very beginning. Another way of putting it; there is a law of the nature of citizenship.

If you are a natural born citizen, you are a citizen according to the law of nature, not according to any positive statement in a Constitution or in a statute, but because of the very nature of your birth and the very nature of nations.”

If you “go back and look at what the law of nature would be or would require … that’s precisely what a natural born citizen is … one who is born to a father and mother each of whom is a citizen of the U.S. or whatever other country,” he said.

“Now what we’ve learned from the Hawaii birth certificate is that Mr. Obama’s father was not a citizen of the United States. His mother was, but he doesn’t qualify as a natural born citizen for the office of president.”

Mordecai then becomes prime minister and is honored. Esther remains queen. And the Jewish people are spared from extermination.

It’s celebrated with the sounds of greggers (to drown out the name of Haman), Queen Esther Beauty Pageants, and the noshing of hamantaschen.

Yet while the Jewish people are celebrating this victory, a hateful group of faux Christians will be gathering like a gaggle of goons, to attempt to persuade Christian Zionists to join them in their Jew-hatred.

But their efforts will do much more in the region than they may realize or intend…

Bethlehem Bible College is hosting a conference known as, ‘Christ at the Checkpoint’…with assistance from ‘Christian’ leaders that claim their stance is nonpolitical and ‘biblical’.

A good deal of support (some of the speakers head some of America’s largest churches) support the ‘Palestinian’ struggle for freedom in their “occupied land” (the term ‘occupied’ gives their bias away).

One speaker is the author of a book that is forwarded by Haneen Zoabi, an extremist Arab Knesset Member, who in 2010 called for the start of a third terrorist intifada, or uprising, against Israel.

Sounds apolitical to me…

This assembly of evil, cloaked in Christianity, will further stoke the miasma in the region…and sadly, in many eyes, put a stamp of approval on hate against the Jewish State for those too busy to uncover the truth.
