In his own words:

I grow up in the conservative Midwest town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with conservative parents, provided a foundation for my political views that are instilled within me to this day.

Not being afraid of differing views and having opportunities to see political giants such as Robert Kennedy and Ronald Reagan speak locally in my youth inspired me to solidify my political beliefs.

Even at a young age I knew the value of hearing differing views to everything before forming an opinion.

What I once thought was the norm in beliefs quickly changed once I moved to the West after college. Suddenly being surrounded by liberal thoughts was quite an eye opening experience for me.

You can hear the theory of liberalism and counter it with your conservative values easily on paper or in speech, but until you are surrounded by it in real life, it takes on a whole new meaning.

Living on San Juan Island in Washington state has truly opened my eyes to the liberal quagmire of how they go about acting out their beliefs through feelings. I have always said, “If liberalism is so great, and it is the answer to America’s problems, then why is Washington State so messed up”.

Every liberal political whim and theory has been used here for years, and guess what?….it doesn’t work.

My education and life experiences include architecture, land use planning, and photography. My life is driven by my creative expression through my photos and now, hopefully, through my writing. Both of which express my belief in a Sovereign God and the peace that comes from above.

My current job is in local government, which allows me to be part of the solution and not just someone who has an opinion. I daily deal with real problems that affect people personally. Finding solutions that work, from a government standpoint, is quite challenging in a world where everyone has a differing worldview.  

My contribution to this site will primarily deal with current events and how one should view it from a conservative, Christian viewpoint. To live this life with any peace or hope at all, one must have a proper balance of both.
