In a time when National Security is paramount, and a newly developed defense system is shown to be successful in test firings, the White House cuts the budget. 

This is a weapon system that can take out missiles in a standoff mode from a distance. 

This would be used to defend against missiles launched at the United States from North Korea, Russia, Iran, or any other unfriendly nation that possessed this capacity. 

At a time when jobs are needed a program of this type would create opportunities in the Defense industry for workers of all types as the initial platform used moves from development to production. 

I would suspect that at least 5 maybe 10 of these systems would become operational over time and would be placed into service.  Boeing, St Louis is the prime contractor on the Development of this weapon system and it has been ongoing for some time without public mention. 

Now that it is successful in the first testing of the system, the United States should be funding rather than retracting from the program to provide more security for our nation.

It seems the current administration has no concept of their duties and responsibilities with respect to security and protection of this country at all costs.  No, they would rather spend Billions, Trillions and God knows what else on bailing out banks, Insurance companies, businesses, and spend money they don’t have on healthcare that the public does not want. 

Can someone please contact the White House and tell the head person there to get the priorities straight.  Security & Defense first, jobs second, economics and the economy third, and after that their social agenda.  Right now they have it all in reverse order.
